Just in (iPhone) Case!

Monday, April 27, 2015

So it's no question that my iPhone is constantly within an arms reach, so when I upgraded to my fancy schmancy (rose) Gold iPhone 6, finding a case was my new #1 Priority. Obviously.

Enter Shutterfly.
I'm a HUGE fan of the Shutterfly family of brands, so when I saw they had a bunch of new, customizable cases, I was sold. Not only do they have a bunch of totally adorable, easy to customize cases but they have cases for iPhone 4/4s, 5/5s, 5c, and 6 & 6Plus (.. aaand the Samsung Galaxy S3, 4 & 5 if your a non-apple person!). The cases are made of a really durable polycarbonate plastic and there is no need to remove the case to charge it!
It took me forever to pick one out.. there are SO many cute choices, but I eventually settled on the Knitted and Nice iPhone case. You can pick the photo (Beckett, obviously!), the monogram font (Carolyna Pro Black) & color (Ink Spot), the finish (matte or glossy-- go matte, you won't be mad you did!) and you can also choose wether or not to include a removable silicon liner.
I added the silicon liner because isn't phone protection like a little tiny hug to you're favorite device? A little extra protection is key- especially for moms with toddlers like myself. Even though Mommy's new phone is hands off, there's always that chance that my little tator tot is going to swipe it out of my hands and toss it somewhere it isn't supposed to be... #momlife
I had doubts about a 'printed' case too, I mean, who wouldn't? I keep my phone in and out of my back pocket pretty much on the daily, so there is a lot of rubbing in my jeans and pants. And let me tell you. This pretty little protective case has not only caught everyone's eyes, but it hasn't faded, rubbed off, chipped, nothing in the month i've had it. (Yes, I waited a whole month before writing this! I had to give it a proper test drive!) The case doesn't get in the way of any of the buttons or switches and doesn't interfere with the flash. It's the best case i've ever had. It's the real deal, y'all.

So if you're in the market, check out what Shutterfly has to offer.. they are SO much more than photo prints!

PS...enter MOMSDAY through April 29, 2015 for 20% your order and use code FREESHIP through the 29th as well to get you free economy shipping for orders over $39.. or you can upgrade your shipping to expedited shipping through the 29th with orders over $39 with code UPGRADE (be sure to choose expedited shipping at check out!)

I received the case as a gift from Shutterfly (Thank you SO Much!), but the thoughts and opinions are all mine!

Christmas Cards 2013!

Tuesday, December 24, 2013

This year we decided to do a little something different for our Christmas cards. Since it is the last Christmas without baby boy being here (omg can't wait 'til next year!) we decided it would be nice to have some nice photos taken of just the two of us! I even did my hair different. Whoa. I know.

Lucky for us, we were able to snag a mini session with Bethany Mattioli and the photos do not disappoint! We were so lucky with the weather and the beautiful lighting! Although they look like maternity-ish photos, they aren't-- but at the time they were taken there was no hiding the bump, so you may as well flaunt it! Im a lot bigger now (60 days left as of 12-16-13!!) so you'll know a maternity photo when you see one!

Here are a couple from our shoot!

And here's our final Card!

We really love how they came out! Shutterfly never disappoints!
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

Let's Party!

Thursday, March 28, 2013

I'm back! The last week or so has been so jam packed with family, that I'm just now getting back into the grove of things! I'll be sure to catch everyone up on our adventures!

anywho!

Since having everyone in town, and holiday, and birthdays came up, and Colby's big 30th is right around the corner (in August), I figured that there is no time like the present to start planning his birthday party! We are headed to Vegas, but will have something here (in California) for him as well!
As you all know, I'm a huge fan of Shutterfly (and Tiny Prints, and Wedding Paper Divas) so naturally I started looking there first! They have so many great options, and everything can be personalized!

You can check out all of Shutterfly's Party Invitations HERE!

Here are a few of my faves! (Obviously I didn't put our information on these, but you can personalize and play with all the cards on the site!)
Bold Typography Birthday Invitation
With the bold type and the chic color combo (love the light turquoise and red!) these invitations would definitely get the party started!

 Colorful Type Birthday Invitation
This invitation is so cute and colorful- probably not super appropriate for a guy's birthday party, but so fun, none the less!
Chalkboard Wishes Birthday Invitation
I'm totally loving the chalkboard/ calligraphy combo right now, and these would be a great start for a classy affair!
Champagne Confetti Birthday Invitation
How chic are these? With a great photo (mmm black and white would look fab!) these would be a hit!

Which one is your favorite?!

From birthday, to bachelorette party to shower, graduation, and baptism invitations, Shutterfly has got you covered! And the best part? You can personalize and see them before buying! So if you can't decide, you can personalize a few then choose your favorite! And the low cost doesn't hurt either! Sign up and they send you specials too! I love me some Shutterfly!

(this is not a sponsored post. shutterfly is not paying me for singing their praises!)
