hoppy easter!

happy easter everyone! i hope you all had a great day with your families and/or loved ones! we took it pretty easy. we went to our friends mom's house for brunch, attempted to go to church, and came back to the house relaxed, and CL currently has a stuffed leg of lamb in the oven. let me just tell you, it smells fantastic. like OMG fantastic. i attempted to make deviled eggs. and i dont know if there is a trick, but i am the WORST egg boiler. i cracked 3 eggs. they look super goofy when they are boiling and come out with what i describe as egg-party hats! at least the bunny slice-and-bake-cookies came out nice!

tonight on ABC is Extreme Makeover, Home Edition-- in Kemah, which is super close to my home in Clear Lake. Its about a family that married young (the husband said that he wasn't able to give her a wedding), started a family, adopted many children, some with special needs, lost their home home during Ike and have been living in a 32' trailer. Unreal. it is so wonderful that there are loving, caring people deserving of gifts like this. in world full of hate and judgement, this show brings those few people to the top and proves that there really is good people out there.  (PS the show has been on for 11 minutes, and i've cried 2x already.)
