It was a no brainer when it came to picking the location of our rehearsal dinner. We wanted something Austin-y, close, and yummy. Max's just happened to be all those things!
We started off at the Four Seasons for the ceremony rehearsal. It was so exciting seeing everyone starting to arrive! It made the wedding seem so much more real! (As if everything else wasn't a huge clue! hah!) we lined up, walked, and walked back. it was pretty easy, and quick!
It was a little nerve-racking having everyone together for the first time. (Side note: it was the first time my parents had really been in close proximity in a few years, so there was a little apprehension on my end, but it went fabulously!) Also, the pics are a little blurry. my camera hates low light, but you get the picture :)
we then all headed over to Max's Wine Dive Austin, for a fabulous rehearsal dinner. We had great drinks, food, and flowers. There was a lot of love in that room. There were beautiful and heartfelt speeches. Tons of smiles and happy tears. It was the perfect pre-wedding evening.
And to top the evening off, back at the
Four Seasons after we had parted ways, (duh! Colby and I did not stay together or see each other before the wedding after the rehearsal dinner!) we hung out in the lobby bar and got to hang out with
Dave Navarro and
Perry Farrell! Hows that for a night before the big day?!
