A few weeks before baby, we enrolled Beckett into Big Brother class at the hospital we were delivering at. It was a great opportunity for him to get to learn what it takes to be a big brother and to get familiar with the hospital!

He got to hold a 'baby', take a tour of the hospital, and make a poster for the baby's hospital bassinet. He even got a certificate of completion! He's ready and so are we!

Showering Baby Louis

A couple of my dear friends threw me and Baby Louis the sweetest baby shower in May! While I didn't have a traditional baby shower with Beckett, this was a fun way to celebrate our new arrival and spend some quality time with my favorite girls!

It was star themed since I did Baby Louis' room in blue stars and it was perfect. I can't thank Taylor and Jamie enough! It was the best afternoon. We are so blessed with the best friends. I am one lucky girl!

I was so thankful that both my Mom and Momadear were able to attend too! Time to have this baby!

Maternity Bluebonnet Photos

While I was kind of against it, we ended up taking our spring bluebonnet photos as a makeshift maternity shoot. While I'm glad we took them, they aren't my favorite photos of myself, but hey- I was growing a human, so I gotta give myself a little slack, right?

I love that we got to take them in the bluebonnets.. blue for my boys and as Texan as it gets!

Pregnancy #2 Adventures

With a 4-year-old in tow, there isn't' really much downtime when you're pregnant with your second. I did my best to not skip a beat with Beckett as every day closer to 'Baby Day' was one day less with my oldest, so we did as much as we could together as a buddy team before our baby brother arrives!

Since photos are worth a thousand words, here's a photo essay of some of the adventures we had before Baby Day! From Tee-ball, school performances, an Astros World Series win (!) and celebrating our birthdays and our 6th anniversary, we packed it all in!
